SHORT CASE STUDIES
Dev Studio was an established product when I joined the project. This product is a portfolio of services and tools that enables developers to build apps, both business to consumer (B2C) and business to business (B2B). I had the opportunity to work on different aspects of this product. Below are a couple examples of the sections I worked on as part of a team effort.

Blog

Overview | Goal | Outcome

Overview: The existing blog needed a different layout and organization to display certain required information. Also users should be able to see all articles from a specific writer or timeframe.

Goal: Review the existing blog and come up with a concept to incorporate the new requirements while making the articles easy to access and track down by timeframe. Also, Implement a way to highlight the writers so the user is able to see all articles written by them.

Outcome: After considering several concepts we decided on one that was the best fit for the user and business needs, met the requirements, would be able to be implemented quickly. This concept also offered the opportunity for future enhancements.

Overview | Goal | Outcome

Overview: The reorganization and restructuring of different Dev Studio sections offered the opportunity to make processes better. This bundles concept is a great example of trying to make information more accessible for developers as well as give them the tools to succeed.

Goal: Combine the existing and new information for each API and create information structures and layouts to help support usability, learnability and support the user’s experience through the API Catalog.

Outcome: Business goals along with user goals were updated as these concepts were produced making for some exercising challenges for the team. With diligent collaboration we were able to decide on a concept that would be the best solution for the business and user as a starting point to build on with the goal of future enhancements.
